Spotlight on Captain Hook!

                                                          J.A.S. Hook, Cptn.
As Captain James Hook signs his infamous name, is arguably the most ruthless villain in film history. Forever bent on destroying Peter Pan, most view him as being despicable, yet their favourite villain. It is hard not to respect, if not outright look up to, such a man. Captain Hook will forever remain one of the greatest villains in cinematography history.
Captain Hook is the main villain in "Peter Pan".
He is a pirate captain who wants to kill Peter Pan and take over Neverland. However, Peter defeats him every time they fight.
He has a hook on his right arm because Tick Tock the Crocodile ate his hand after Peter cut it off and threw it overboard. Tick Tock wants to eat the rest of him, thus he is the one thing Hook fears. Tick-Tock also swallowed Hook's clock, thus the ticking of the clock announces his arrival and allows Hook to escape.
Watch out Never Neverland. Captain Hook is Baaaaaaack!

Following The Leader

Following the leader, the leader, the leader
We're following the leader wherever he may go
We won't be home till morning, till morning
We won't be home till morning
Because he told us so
Tee dum, tee dee
A teedle ee do tee day
We're out for fun
And this is the game we play:
Come on, join in
And sing your troubles away
With a teedle ee dum
A teedle do tee day
We're following the leader, the leader, the leader
We're following the leader wherever he may go
We won't be home till morning, till morning
We won't be home till morning
Because he told us so
Tee dum, tee dee
A teedle ee do tee day
We march along and
These are the words we say:
Tee dum, tee dee,
A teedle deelde deeay
Oh, a teedle ee dum
A teedle ee do tee day
Oh, a teedle ee dum
A teedle ee do tee day

You Can Fly

You Can Fly

Lyrics from "Peter Pan"
Music and Lyrics by Sammy Fain and Sammy Cahn

Think of a wonderful thought

Any merry little thought

Think of Christmas, think of snow

Think of sleigh bells

Off you go like reindeer in the sky

You can fly! You can fly!

You can fly!

Think of the happiest things

It's the same as having wings

Take the path that moonbeams make

If the moon is still awake

You'll see him wink his eye

You can fly, you can fly!

You can fly!

Up you go with a heigh and ho

To the stars beyond the blue

There's a Never Land waiting for you

Where all your happy dreams come true

Every dream that you dream will come true

When there's a smile in your heart

There's no better time to start

Think of all the joy you'll find

When you leave the world behind

And bid your cares goodbye

You can fly, you can fly!

You can fly, you can fly!

You can fly!

Song Lyrics "Never Smile at a Crocodile"

Never smile at a crocodile
No, you can't get friendly with a crocodile
Don't be taken in by his welcome grin
He's imagining how well you'd fit within his skin
Never smile at a crocodile
Never tip your hat and stop to talk awhile
Never run, walk away, say good-night, not good-day
Clear the aisle but never smile at Mister Crocodile
You may very well be well bred
Lots ot etiquette in your head
But there's always some special case, time or place
To forget etiquette
For instance:
Never smile at a crocodile
No, you can't get friendly with a crocodile
Don't be taken in by his welcome grin
He's imagining how well you'd fit within his skin
Never smile at a crocodile
Never dip your hat and stop to talk awhile
Never run, walk away, say good-night, not good-day
Clear the aisle but never smile at Mister Crocodile.

Peter Pan Jnr

Our Primary Production this year will be Peter Pan Jnr!

Based on the Disney film and J.M. Barrie's enchanting play, Disney's Peter Pan JR. is a modern version of the timeless tale about a boy who wouldn't grow up. The score includes new arrangements of classic Disney songs and a story featuring one rousing adventure after another.
Wendy Darling loves to tell stories to her brothers, Michael and John. But when her father announces she must move out of the nursery, Peter Pan comes to visit the children and whisks them away to Neverland. Their journey introduces them to the Lost Boys, Mermaids, Indians and even the infamous pirate, Captain Hook!  It’s Peter to the rescue when Wendy is taken captive by the dreaded captain, who has his own sinister plans in mind for our hero.
Disney's Peter Pan JR. is a magical story with countless opportunities for clever staging and design, and large ensemble numbers featuring groups of classic characters. This production will suit our needs at O.S.C where EVERYONE
gets a part to play!
